Exactly four and a half months after the previous coach's initial media briefing as Rangers manager, successor Danny Rohl faced reporters at Ibrox for the initial occasion.
The magnitude of the challenge ahead of him is well known, considering his predecessor's chaotic and unsuccessful four-month tenure.
The former Wednesday boss was accompanied by chairman the chairman, along with the much-criticized duo of sporting director Thelwell and chief executive Stewart.
But what exactly did we learn from the 36-year-old German's first public appearance as Rangers boss?
Rohl's Main Priority - Victory is Everything
One thing came through clearly from the new coach's first appearance in front of the local press - he understands the need to secure victories, and do so quickly.
His predecessor Russell Martin lasted only 17 games and four months as manager, so the question emerged about what timeframe Rohl thinks is realistic to turn around the underperforming team.
While skillfully avoiding a direct answer that could bring later expectations, the coach's message was quite clear.
"Hopefully as soon as possible," he said. "That is essential.
"In football you have not much time. One can talk about future plans but we know it concerns the short-term and that period involves securing victories. This is what I demand.
"One thing remains obvious - I require all players to comprehend our intended to perform. I return to my main message: it's winning, entertaining football and it's together. By following this order, I'm convinced that I will remain for years at the club."
Pressure is Standard
The previous manager needed a police escort to exit the stadium after his last match as manager.
We've seen how hostile environments can turn at sports teams when results are poor. Protests have nearly become an expected aspect of game day experience on each part of the city these days.
As Rangers' youngest manager in history, the inquiry was posed about what qualities the coach thinks he possesses that would enable him to handle, never mind excel, in among the highest-pressure positions in UK soccer?
"I think expectations in this business are standard," he commented. "You must learn that rapidly.
"I believe certain individuals could reference my age but I'm a decade and a half in this career. I experienced an excellent chance to be at Bayern Munich and serve as just the assistant manager, but I felt the reality to manage a team and the demands involved.
"When you start getting results and then some critics claim you need to produce entertaining soccer. That's the next phase but that's exactly what I want. I relish those expectations and I look forward about the future."
Thelwell Explains Chermiti Signing & Hiring His Son
The media pack had plenty of inquiries from the media for Thelwell.
Significant attention has concerned the appointment of Robbie Thelwell as head of recruitment, with fans skeptical about his credentials for the position.
However, he justified and clarified the decision to bring Thelwell Jnr to Ibrox.
"It's always awkward to listen and in appearance I think we all agreed when we made this decision to appoint Robbie that he would be viewed negatively," Thelwell said.
"The truth of the situation is that we want to attract the top talent to this club.
"My view on his professional path and situation is he required no my assistance in football.
"He's worked at Villa as a senior scout, after which he moved to Norwich as head of scouting and then was elevated to development role.
"Prior to our hiring him, multiple top division teams sought to sign him. What we did from the start of the process was discuss with Patrick, the chairman and vice-chairman Paraag Marathe about this situation.
"I remained highly transparent and I think he likely underwent a stricter process than anybody else employee by the team.
"What I do know is that he'll labor constantly to be successful for this football club and I anticipate to him proving that he's going to be a valuable employee for Rangers."
Additionally, Thelwell defended the signing of forward Youssef Chermiti, who joined the club for a reported initial fee of £8m, having failed to find the net in 24 games for Everton.
The sporting director who transferred the Portuguese youth international to Liverpool from Sporting - again for significant money in a fifteen million pound transfer.
He was asked if he supports his multi-million pound purchase, who hasn't yet score in seven outings for Rangers.
"Yes, very much so," Thelwell answered. "I think the striker represents who's possesses huge potential.
"I haven't doubted him whatsoever. Similarly, I think the manager will help to maximize the potential out of the player.
"It's very early days for him, he's a young talent and naturally with young talents they occasionally take time.
"But I'm certain over the course of his time at the club he's going to prove that he's a highly capable footballer."
Stewart Understands Fan Frustration and Anger
Stewart was also in the media firing line, considering the criticism that has been directed at him by certain of the club's own supporters.
Additionally, there was a sign in the stadium during the recent draw with United suggesting him - and the sporting director - to depart before they were packed for them.
Like his football director, the CEO did not evade the issue.
"I totally understand the frustration and anger that the supporters are feeling because results recently haven't met good enough and no one is satisfied with those," he stated.
"The hurt and disappointment fans experience is matched within the boardroom.
"Recognize that there has to be a channel for those frustrations and in my role, that's me.
"I'm a focal point for such issues and my responsibility as a
